What causes low water pressure?
To answer this question we must first determine are you on city/county water or well? For city water the most common cause of low water pressure is poor water quality. The buildup of calcium deposits in your aerators or screens can decrease your water pressure over time and damage your fixtures. Another common issue for city water is debris in some cases due to (Maintenance,Construction)  of the city water system. This can push debris into your potable water system reducing pressure. In most cases you can simply purchase an Aerator key kit from lowes and unscrew and clean your aerators yourself most of the time this will correct the issue. If not, feel free to give us a call to diagnose and repair. For well water there could also be calcium buildup or debris. There could also be an issue with your pump or pressure tank. For these issues please give us a call to diagnose and repair. Well pumps and pressure tanks can be difficult to diagnose and regulate without proper training. If you’re just not pleased with your water pressure, we do offer a system that can plumbed inline that would boost your current pressure 32 psi or more.

How can I unclog my sink or toilet?
Sink blockages can be addressed by putting a bowl under the p trap and unscrewing the trap and dumping the contents. Put the trap back together and test if the issue still persists, give us a call to snake the line. If your toilet is clogged you can use your plunger or purchase a toilet auger (recommended). The plunger pushes air to try and push the blockage and the auger goes into the toilet base and you turn the handle and push this causes a snaking motion and will chop up the blockage. You can purchase both of these tools at your local hardware store. If this doesn’t work give us a call to diagnose and clear your blockage.
